Russ has 15 years experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) consulting for large and small pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. He is founder of the Chicago-based HEOR firm Russell Becker Consulting. Previously, he was Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Dymaxium, and serviced as senior manager for IMS Health and Ovation Research Group. Russ has broad experience in a number of therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, oncology, HIV/AIDS, pain management, urology, and several others. He has over 40 peer-reviewed publications and presentations and has experience teaching and communicating HEOR concepts to drug/device developer, payer, provider, and academic audiences. Russell has a MA degree from the University of Virginia.
